Privacy Policy

Who is responsible
Amar Farkhadi, operator of nothings.wtf. Questions, corrections and deletion requests: hi@nothings.wtf.
What is collected, and why
- The name you choose to display. Published on the site — that is the entire point of the purchase.
- Your handle or website, if you add one. Published, and turned into a link. For X we fetch the public profile picture through unavatar.io; for Instagram, through Meta's Graph API. Only the username you typed leaves the site.
- Your message and logo, on the tiers that have them. Published after review.
- Your email address. Never published. Used to send the ticket and to answer you. It is also hashed with a secret salt into an identifier that groups your purchases on the leaderboard — the hash cannot be turned back into your address.
- The payment identifier returned by the payment provider, so the same payment is not counted twice.
We do not store card numbers. We never see them: the card details are entered on the payment provider's own page.
What the site does not do
There is no advertising, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no profiling. The only cookie the site sets is a session cookie for the operator's own admin login. Nothing is sold or rented to anybody.
Who else processes it
- Dodo Payments — takes the payment as merchant of record and holds the billing data you give them.
- Vercel — runs the site and keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses for a short period.
- Neon — hosts the database the entries live in.
- Resend — sends the ticket email, and therefore processes your address and the ticket.
- unavatar.io and Meta — receive the public username you supplied, in order to return a profile picture. They receive nothing else about you.
How long it is kept
Published entries are kept for as long as the site exists — that is what was bought. Email addresses and payment identifiers are kept while they are needed for accounting and for handling disputes.
What you can ask for
You can ask to see what is stored about you, to correct it, or to have your entry taken off the site. An entry removed on request is not refunded — the terms say so before you pay — and the record of the transaction is kept for accounting. Write to hi@nothings.wtf and we will answer.
Children
The site is not for anybody under 18, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
